'Pygmalion effect (피그말리온 효과)'를 염두에 두고
만든 노래라고 합니다.

그리스 신화에 나오는 Pygmalion(조각가)은
자신이 만든 아름다운 여인상과 사랑에 빠져
조각상에 온갖 정성을 다하는 것을 목격한 美의 여신 아프로디테가

그 조각상을 여인으로 바꿔주었는데
그후로 강한 바램이 기적을 일으킨다는 의미의
'피그말리온 효과' 라는 말이 생겼다고 하네요.

플라멩고 팝으로 전 유럽을 열광시킨 곡 "Message Of Love" 는
돈 베네치의 허스키한 음색과
소프라노 아리아의 절묘한 하모니가 돋보이는 곡입니다...

 

 

 

Don Bennechi는 이탈리아의 Blues계열의 칸쪼네 아티스트입니다

우리나라에는 그다지 잘 알려지지 않은 이탈리아 가수 돈베네치..
Blues계열의 음악을 하는 뮤지션으로 알려져 있습니다.

Message Of Love 라는 이곡은 영어버젼과 이탈리아버젼으로 발표되었는데

대부분 이탈리아 버젼곡이 더 많은 사랑을 받고 있으며,
방송시그널 음악등으로 쓰이면서 알려지기 시작한 곡입니다.

 

1999년에 국내에서 발매된 앨범

Message Of Love 에 있는 Message Of Love 는
이 앨범의 타이틀 곡으로 1995년 만들어졌습니다.
